Warranty Policy

Warranty begins from the date of delivery or pickup. Coverage applies under normal residential use and proper care.

Structural & Mechanical Warranty

Frame & Structure: 10 years against manufacturing defects

Recliner Mechanisms — Manual: 3 years

Recliner Mechanisms — Electric: 3 years (includes motors, wiring & related electrical parts)

Comfort & Cushioning

Foam & Cushions: 12 months against excessive sagging or loss of shape

(Compression or “softening” over time is normal and not a fault)

Upholstery Warranty

Fabric: 12 months for stitching, seam separation & material integrity

(Excludes pilling, fading, wear, stains, incorrect cleaning, chemicals or sunlight damage.)

Leather: 12 months for stitching, seams & leather integrity

(Excludes natural creasing, colour variation, fading, cracking from heat/sun, damage from cleaners.)

PU / Synthetic Upholstery: 12 months for stitching, seams & material integrity

(Excludes peeling from heat exposure, incorrect cleaning or wear.)

Outdoor Furniture Warranty

Outdoor Furniture: 12 months structural warranty covering frame, stitching, cushion foam & wicker/rope

(Valid only when items are used with protective outdoor covers.)

Excludes:

• UV fading

• Water or rain damage

• Mould or mildew

• Rust or corrosion

• Weather deterioration

• Damage caused by not using a cover

• Commercial / Airbnb use

Exclusions (Not Covered By Warranty)

The warranty does NOT cover:

• Normal wear & tear

• Pilling of fabric

• Fading from sunlight or heat exposure

• Accidental damage, stains, spills or liquids

• Pet damage (scratches, tears, chewing etc.)

• Incorrect cleaning products or chemicals

• Improper care, misuse or abuse

• Damage during customer transport (pickup orders)

• Uneven floors causing reclining issues

• Commercial, Airbnb or non-residential use

• Unauthorised repairs or modifications

• Damage due to inadequate access during delivery

• Environmental damage: mould, humidity, rain, insects, etc.

Transit Damage

If your order arrives damaged during delivery:

• Tell the driver immediately

• Take photos before they leave

• Do NOT sign as “in good condition” unless inspected

• Report within 48 hours

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Include:

• Proof of purchase

• Photos + description of the issue

• Delivery or pickup date

• Your contact details

Once submitted, we will assess the claim and provide an outcome in line with:

• Homeline Furniture warranty terms

• Australian Consumer Law

Depending on the issue, we may organise:

• Repair

• Replacement part

• Full item replacement

• Store credit or refund (major failures only)

Important

This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If the product has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.
