Delivery & Assembly

Delivered. Assembled. Done.

That's how it works at Homeline. Every order we deliver is brought in, assembled, and placed where you want it. You don't lift a thing, and you don't spend your weekend with an Allen key.

Where we deliver

We deliver and assemble across a growing list of areas. Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich, and beyond, with more added as we expand. Enter your postcode at checkout and we'll calculate your delivery rate on the spot. Deliveries are made by Homeline's own team or a trusted delivery partner working to the same standard, either way, your order is brought in, assembled, and placed.

Further afield? We've got you covered too. We deliver Australia-wide, just get in touch and we'll organise transport, or you're welcome to pick up free from our Redland Bay warehouse. Beyond South East Queensland we can't always assemble on site, but we try our best to make it work for you. Either way, drop us a line and we'll sort it.

How long it takes

If your piece is in stock, our team will be in touch within one business day to organise your delivery. From there, your order is dispatched within two to four days. Order at the start of the week and have it before the weekend.

We deliver Monday to Friday.

If your piece is made to order or currently out of stock, it typically takes eight to twelve weeks to arrive with us, and the moment it lands, we dispatch it straight to you.

What's included

When we deliver, we:

  • Bring your furniture inside
  • Assemble it
  • Place it exactly where you want it

We'll leave the packaging with you to recycle. If you'd rather we took it away, you can add rubbish removal at checkout.

Prefer to pick up?

Pickup is free from our Redland Bay warehouse, and you can choose it at checkout. Orders come boxed, not assembled, and are usually ready within 24 hours of purchase, Monday to Friday. Weekend pickups can be organised, just ask. The exact address is provided once your order is placed.

Pay in full before collection and bring your invoice and photo ID. You'll need a suitable vehicle, a hand to lift, and your own tie-downs: for safety and liability reasons, our team can't lift goods into your vehicle, or strap, tie down or secure your load. Loading and securing is your responsibility.

Small homeware, posted to your door

Not everything needs a truck. Smaller homeware, cushions, throws, prints, candles and the like, is posted straight to your door, right across Australia. Postage is worked out at checkout, and there's no need to contact us first.

These pieces arrive by standard post or courier, ready to use, no assembly, and no delivery fee. If you're ordering homeware alongside furniture, we'll usually bring it with your delivery at no extra postage.

Some pieces come apart, some don't

Not all furniture is built the same way. Some of our pieces are modular or partly knock-down: legs, arms, or sections can be separated to make an awkward doorway or staircase possible. Others, including many of our larger lounges, are built and delivered as a single solid piece and cannot be taken apart. What arrives is exactly how it stays.

Because a piece can't always be dismantled to get it in, the access path has to work for the assembled size. If a fixed piece won't fit through your doorways, hallways, stairs, corners or lift, we can't force it, modify it, or dismantle it on site, and we're not able to take it back once it's been ordered.

If you're unsure whether a particular piece can be separated for delivery, email us at sales@homelinefurniture.com.au before you order and we'll tell you exactly how that piece arrives.

Stairs, marble, and heavy pieces

Most furniture we'll carry to whichever room it belongs in, upstairs included, provided the access is clear and safe.

Marble is the exception. Marble and natural-stone pieces are never carried up stairs, it's a genuine safety hazard, for our team and for your home. Marble is delivered to ground level only, without exception.

The same goes for any piece marked with a red heavy dot on its product page. If you see the red dot, it's ground-floor delivery only, our team won't take it up stairs or between levels. If a heavy or marble piece needs to go higher, arranging that is your responsibility once we've delivered it safely to ground level.

Once it's delivered, it's yours

From the moment your order is delivered, or collected, full responsibility for it transfers to you. If a piece is knocked, tips, or falls and causes damage after delivery or collection, that is the customer's responsibility, not Homeline Furniture's.

Our team will place every piece exactly where you want it on the day, so take a moment to choose a stable, sensible spot, and consider anchoring tall pieces, especially in homes with children.

Before your delivery, make sure it fits

Beautiful furniture is no good if it won't get through the front door. Before your delivery day, please check your piece will fit through every part of its journey into your home, doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts, and tight corners. The path has to work the whole way through, not just into the room.

If a piece can't fit through the access to your space, we're not able to take it back, so it's worth measuring twice. Our Delivery Fit Guide walks you through exactly what to check.
