Refund policy

We want you to love what you buy, so we take real care to help you choose well before you order. Here's how returns, cancellations, and defects work at Homeline Furniture.

Change of mind

Furniture is a considered purchase, and once a sale is done, it's final, we're not able to accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges. We'd always rather you took your time, asked us anything, and felt sure before you commit, so please reach out if you're weighing something up.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order after it's been paid, a thirty percent cancellation fee applies. This is the same whether or not your piece has been dispatched.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. Once a deposit is placed on any order, stock or made to order, it secures your piece and can't be refunded.

If your piece arrives with a defect

If something arrives with a manufacturing fault, we'll put it right. We don't tolerate defects, and we don't make you fight for a fix.

Where a fault is confirmed, we'll repair the piece or replace it, at our choice. We don't offer refunds; a refund applies only where the Australian Consumer Law requires one, such as a major failure. A confirmed defect is never subject to cancellation fees.

Nothing here limits the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

A note on damage after delivery

When we deliver, we'll ask you to look over your piece and make sure everything's right before you sign your delivery completion. Once you've signed, the piece is in your care, so damage that happens during your own assembly (on pickup orders) or after delivery isn't something we're able to cover.
